What I’d Like To See 👀

🚨 Barrow County District 4 – I’m Ash Walsh, and I’m running for Barrow County Board of Education!

As a nearly lifelong Barrow resident, mom of two students, longtime volunteer, and former cross country & track coach at BASA who fought to save our kids’ track program in 2023, I’ve ALWAYS put students first! My goal for running? No more closed door decisions or insider politics!

What I’d like to see:

✅Accessible engagement: If elected, I will implement my own easy messaging & scheduling system to speak with me directly when needed. No barriers. Your voice will be heard.

✅Transparency & true representation: I refuse to join any “good ole boys club.” Hidden agendas, special interests, and shady backroom deals have ZERO place in our school system. I want to serve the taxpayers. Period.

✅Strong support for educators: I will always advocate for good pay, respect, and real acknowledgement for our hard-working teachers and faculty.

✅Clear, frequent, and open communication: I’ll post regular blog updates on what I’m working on, how you can get involved, and straight thoughts to keep everyone informed.
