A Passion For Community & Transparency

Ash Walsh has been a resident of Barrow County for most of her life, witnessing firsthand the evolution of our community—from growing up in Statham to raising her family right by Apalachee High School. Her journey into public service was sparked in 2023 when she rallied the community to save the BASA track program and realized that real change is only possible when residents have a seat at the table and direct access to their representatives.

With a background rooted in advocacy and local engagement, Ash’s passion is serving the community and building up the next generation. She prioritizes transparency, direct dialogue, and decisions shaped by the people who live, work, and raise kids here every day. As her pastor often says, “Whoever wants the next generation the most will get them.” Ash takes that calling seriously—she will be on guard to protect and guide our students with fairness, no hidden agendas, and a focus on strong schools and supported teachers.

I'll provide a simple "one-click" button on my site for messaging and an online scheduler for one-on-one meetings—so I can personally hear your needs and take them straight to the Board on your behalf. No more barriers to being heard.

Strong Support for Teachers

I stand with my teacher friends and will always work for fair treatment of all educators. Teachers deserve competitive pay and respect. I'll always advocate for higher teacher salaries in every budget discussion and support measures to recruit, retain, and care for our dedicated educators.

Commitment to Transparency and True Representation

I will always fight for full transparency in Board decisions and genuine representation for every citizen of Barrow County. No favoritism, just accountable leadership that puts students, families, and taxpayers first.

Independence and Zero Tolerance for Special Interests

I will not be part of any "good ol' boys club." Zero hidden agendas, sketchy connections, or shady dealings - this is exactly what I fought to eliminate in 2023. I'm nobody's puppet. I work only for the citizens of Barrow County, and can't be persuaded or bought. Trust that you'll never see a donation button on my site or platform.
